Description of Research
Dr. Brodsky’s research examines individual and community level resilience and the roles of communities, culture, and psychological sense of community in resisting societal risks such as violence, racism, and other oppressions. Specifically, I am interested in risk and resilience among marginalized populations as well as understanding racial identity development among multiracial individuals. Clinically, I am interested in treating the psychological effects of trauma on children, adolescents, and their families.
