Description of Research
My project is focused on the chemoenzymatic synthesis of homogenous glycopeptides and glycoproteins using bacterial enzymes. The main glycoprotein target is IgG which is an important biological therapeutic and the carbohydrates attached directly affect the function and stability of these monoclonal antibodies.
