Description of Research
Faren’s research focuses on interrelations among stress, coping styles, emotional functioning, and cardiovascular health. She has examined the role of positive and negative emotions and psychological well-being in engaging inflammatory processes of the immune system and associated cardiovascular disease pathogenesis. Faren also has applied interests in health information design, health technology design, and health technology use.
