Description of Research
My research focuses on the effect of nutrition on early child development. I am investigating the association between iron deficiency with or without anemia and child development among infants and identifying mechanisms of this association. The ultimate goal of my research is to reduce health disparities by identifying potential interventions to promote optimal child development, especially in low- and middle-income countries.
