Description of Research
My research interests are mainly centered on mental health disparities and the influence of psychosocial factors in coping with perceived discrimination. She is currently conducting studies to investigate the relationships among early life and current psychosocial factors and daily life stressors to cardiovascular disease risk indices such as heart rate variability, blood pressure and sleep disturbance and the implications for mental health.
