Description of Research
I am studying the genotoxic stress response of RNA binding proteins Nucleolin and Nucleophosmin in human tissues and cells. Nucleolin, also called Human Helicase IV, has not been previously shown to be upregulated in response to genotoxic stress. The exact function of Nucleophosmin is not known.
