Description of Research
I am a clinical child psychology student currently doing research evaluating both a home based intervention program for juvenile delinquents/offenders and their families and a girl’s substance abuse program for Baltimore County. My personal interests include how father involvement serves as a protection from negative outcomes in different areas of child development, and prevention and intervention of childhood aggression. At this time I am analyzing data on the relationship between father involvement and academic achievement, substance use, mental health, and delinquency in a diverse population of delinquent adolescents.
