PURPOSE: The purpose of this symposium is to provide networking and professional development opportunities for students, faculty, and administrators affiliated with the Mid-Atlantic PREP/IMSD Research Symposium network in the Southeast region. Our goal is to train and promote scientists of the next generation whose research interests are in the areas of biomedical and behavioral sciences.
LOCATION: Events will be held at UMBC on Thursday, May 25, 2017 in the Albin O. Kuhn Library, 7th Floor and UMB on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Medical School Teaching Facility (MSTF) atrium and auditorium and lunch at Westminster Hall and Burying Ground & Catacombs. MAPRS attendees will be shuttled from the Hilton hotel to the UMB campus on Friday morning. A parking code with instructions will be provided for parking at UMBC on Thursday.
