Fellowship & Grant Awards

The Meyerhoff Graduate Fellows receive stipends—currently $26,000 per year—during their first year of graduate study. In subsequent years, students are generally supported by grants of their Ph.D. advisors. However, during their second year of graduate study, all Meyerhoff Graduate Fellows are required to submit proposals for individual predoctoral fellowships, and several students have received these competitive awards. Most fellowships have been awarded by the National Institutes of Health.

The following Meyerhoff Graduate Fellows have received independent research grants and fellowship awards.
